Maj Gen (Dr.) Abdul Karim bin Ahmad is Mahat Advisory's Sectoral Partner Designate for Government and National Resilience · the credibility layer that allows Mahat's service partners to deliver into senior Malaysian government, defence, security and public-sector environments. His career spans almost four decades since commissioning in 1986, across operational command, staff appointments, joint task force leadership, and the strategic professional education of the Malaysian Armed Forces.
His authority is institutional, not asserted. He is the sitting 4th Commandant of the National Resilience College at PUSPAHANAS Putrajaya, the MAF's highest institution of professional military and senior government education. He has commanded Joint Task Force 2 in Tawau across the ESSCOM theatre, served as Director General of Policy and Development Human Resources Branch at Army HQ MINDEF, and held Chief of Staff appointments at brigade and divisional level. He is decorated at the highest federal and armed forces tiers, including Panglima Setia Angkatan Tentera (PSAT, 2025) and Pahlawan Angkatan Tentera (PAT, 2022).
Contact Mahat Advisory to discuss government, defence, security and senior public-sector mandates. Maj Gen Karim's involvement is confirmed where the engagement requires institutional government and defence credibility, on activation of his Designate appointment.
